Program
Community Ride Days
Free pop-up cycling events co-hosted with schools, churches, community centers, and youth organizations. Ride901 brings bikes, helmets, coaches, beginner courses, and fun riding activities. The local partner brings the families and helps choose the right site.
What happens
- A beginner-friendly course set up in a space the partner helps choose.
- Coached first rides for children who have never ridden before.
- Open riding, cone courses, and short fun races.
- Helmet fitting for every child who rides.
Good to know
- Co-hosted, never a parachute program. The partner helps select the site and connect with families.
- Transportation is coordinated with the partner, not assumed.
- Families who attend receive an invitation into the next relevant Ride901 program.

- Who it is for
- Children ages 2–14 and their families. Beginners especially welcome.
- Cost
- Free to families.
- What to bring
- Bring a bike and helmet if you have them. If you do not, that is exactly who this is for.
- Loaner equipment
- Loaner bikes and properly fitted helmets are planned at no cost, subject to availability and rider fit.
- Safety
- Helmets required for everyone riding. Certified first-aid presence. Programs run in public, visible spaces.
- Location
- Site selected with the host partner. Ride901 does not announce a neighborhood before a partner relationship is confirmed.
