Program
Learn to Ride
Learn to Ride is beginner instruction for children taking their first pedal strokes. Coaches work on balance, braking, pedaling, steering, and the confidence that holds it all together. Parents do not need to know how to teach it — that is what the coaches are for.
What happens
- Balance first, on a balance bike or a pedal bike with the pedals removed.
- Braking and stopping before speed.
- First pedal strokes with a coach alongside.
- Short, low-pressure practice loops until it clicks.
Good to know
- There is no age at which it is too late to learn. Older beginners are welcome.
- Kids progress at their own pace. Nobody is timed and nobody is compared.
